In 2024, Esperance Distillery acquired Lisandras Distillery and with it their filled whisky barrels and copper pot stills.

Lisandras’ founder, Andras, is Hungarian, and he and James bonded over a love of Hungarian oak whiskies. This smooth single malt is Esperance Distillery’s first Hungarian oak release, revealing dark chocolate, toasted spice and dried fruit notes. Produced with 100% WA malt barley and local rainwater, it was uniquely aged in both Perth and Esperance for almost four years.
