Create your very own gin in a fun, hands-on two-hour experience — and take home a 500ml bottle made to your own recipe!
Booking Types:
Public Booking (via our website): October - April
- Open to individuals or small groups
- Class size is minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 attendees
- Each person gets to create their own recipe and use their own still
Custom Private Bookings (3 - 12 people)
- 3 - 6 people - each person has their own still and recipe
- 7 - 12 people - attendees will share a still and recipe in pairs

Availability:

Pricing: $139 per person
What's Included:
- A gin and tonic on arrival
- A short fun history of gin and our approach to gin-making
- A tutorial on how the distillation process works on your own mini-pot still
- Your very own distilled 500ml bottle of gin made to your own recipe.
At Esperance Distillery Co, our focus is to explore, forage and distill. We encourage you to bring your own botanicals in to make your gin, for example a sprig of rosemary or a lemon foraged from your garden. The class will also include a variety of botanicals for you to choose from.
Important Info:
- Gin School is 18+. Please bring your valid ID.
- Enclosed shoes must be worn.
- Bookings must be made by 10:30am the day before.
- A minimum of 3 attendees is required for a class to run (If you're a single or couple, contact us to join an existing group)

If a class doesn’t meet the 3-person minimum within 24 hours of the scheduled time, we may need to reschedule or issue a refund. Thank you for your understanding.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cancel/reschedule my booking?
If you cancel a website booking, we can offer you a gift voucher valid for up to 2 years to use at our distillery. If you'd like to reschedule, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice. Cancellation must be in writing via the following email: staff@esperancedistilleryco.com
When is Gin School?
Winter: by appointment only - contact us (read more above in description). October onwards: 1st Friday of each month 5:30-7:30pm & other Fridays 11am-1pm.

Location: Esperance Distillery Co. 77 Norseman Road, Esperance, WA, 6450.
Do you allow dogs in gin school?
Unfortunately not, this is for the safety of yourself, your furry friends and those around you. Guide Dogs are an exception.
Is there disabled access?
We are currently located at an old building which doesn't have disability access. We will do our best to accommodate for your needs. Contact staff on 0475 843 205.
